...count as being on vacation? Outside the sun is shining...there is a cold drink in the blender and the pool is just steps away. But here I am...learning about Individual Adoption of Technology and playing The Change Game. My skin will thank you that it's not being roasted in factor 50 this summer for sure!
I think I am turning into a true American student. I was reflecting on the course yesterday with one of my good American girl-friends. In Ireland, 75%+ is an A - but on the quizzes for reading in ITEC 7460, one needs to make 100 (5/5) to get an A. I've turned into the student that wants the A. I now sympathize with the faces of my students who don't make the 100% on the quiz. I'm not sure what this means for my authentic Irish character - but it really does mean I'm becoming more American (just as well as we take the citizenship test next summer...guess what I want to make on that one?)
Either way - as Module 3 beckons...there is a lot more theory than I reckoned on there being. Change theory has been very interesting and perhaps the most applicable in my school setting for sure! I recognize some of the ideas of what has been happening in my reality from the theory - which has to be a good thing, right?
Right...back to the reading...and hoping that I make a 100% in the third quiz. My husband jokes that we need to print out my grades page and pin it to the fridge...I totally love that idea!
